In July of 2017, the idea of a zero waste grocery store called Scoop Marketplace was born and founder, Stephanie Lentz, immediately found herself on a mission to normalize zero-waste grocery shopping. 

Stephanie is passionate about teaching people how to improve the quality of their lives while learning to walk more gently on the planet, and hoped that by reviving the shopping methods of generations past, Scoop Marketplace would lead the way in providing us all a healthier hereafter.

In 2022, we made the difficult decision to close our doors after enduring an endless barrage of painful challenges. Ultimately, the pressure of operating a small business through the pandemic and the financial hardships that resulted became too much of a burden to bare. 

Stephanie is still committed to being a beneficial presence in the world and the overall vision to contribute to a future in which everyone can thrive will continue to be carried out in a variety of fun and exciting ways.

*We are currently operating under the business name Scoop Intelligence, however you may also start to see Stephanie's personal brand, The Luxury Pumpkin, popping up here and there, and we have a fresh new brand launching later this year.
